The 68th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Surgery of the Hand will be held onsite at PACIFICO YOKOHAMA NORTH.

  • * Students/Initial medical residents are eligible for those who are not Members or associate members and who are enrolled at a university medical school.

    • - Students and initial trainees: student ID card or certificate from the head of the university or hospital.
    • - The 37th Annual meeting of Japan hand therapy society participants: a copy of the payment confirmation email sent after payment of the participation fee for the Hand Therapy Conference.
  • * The participation fee is non-refundable for any reason after payment has been made.

Name cards will be issued on the day at the ‘Registration’ desk.

  • (1) Complete your registration.
  • (2) A QR code will be sent to your registered address (can also be displayed from My Page).
  • (3) Hold the QR code over the reader to issue a name card.

*Please make sure to wear your name card at the conference. Those not wearing it will not be allowed to enter.

To Moderators

  • - Online presentations via Zoom or other means are not available. Please take the platform on-site.
  • - Please be seated in the next moderators' seat in the room at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your session.
  • - The moderators will be in charge of the progress of the session. Please be punctual.

  • - Please stand in front of the microphone and state your affiliation and name as instructed by the moderators before speaking.
  • - Please refrain from lengthy preliminaries before questions or mere additional remarks.

Submission of Papers for Presentation at the Annual Meeting

The deadline for online submission of papers to the Journal of the Japanese Society for Surgery of the Hand will be announced later on the members-only page.

Lectures, symposia, panel discussions, general presentations (oral presentations), co-sponsored seminars, and parallel meetings

Data to be prepared

Slide data for on-site presentation (data registration at the PC reception desk)

  • - Slide data for on-site presentations will be recorded at the venue and distributed on-demand at a later date. * General presentations (oral presentations) will not be available on-demand.
  • - If you are unable to make your presentation on site due to infectious diseases, we will replay your presentation at the venue if you submit your video data in advance. In this case, there will be no Zoom connection or Q&A session.

  • - Please come to the PC Center at least 60 minutes before your presentation (30 minutes before for the first session in the morning) to register and check the video output (preview).

A yellow light will indicate one minute before the end of the presentation time, and a red light will indicate the end of the presentation time.

〈If you bring your own PC〉
  • (1) Please be sure to bring the AC adapter that comes with your PC.
  • (2) The PC cable connectors provided at the venue are HDMI. Please prepare a PC suitable for this configuration. If you need a conversion connector, please make sure you have one yourself.
  • (3) Please deactivate screen savers, power-saving modes and password settings as they may interfere with your presentation.
  • (4) After data reception, please bring your PC to the operator's desk in the conference venue at least 15 minutes before your presentation. After your presentation, please pick up your PC at the operator's desk.
  • (5) Please bring a backup copy of your data on a USB flash memory in case of PC trouble.
  • (6) Please refrain from using the presenter's tools to ensure smooth proceedings. 2.
